Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with end users and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable Splunk use cases, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SPL (Search Processing Language) queries for searches, correlations, alerts, and reporting with a strong emphasis on performance tuning.
- Create and maintain Splunk knowledge objects such as saved searches, macros, lookups, tags, and event types to ensure an organized, efficient workspace.
- Support the integration of data from various platforms, including AWS and OpenShift containers/pods, to enhance Splunk’s data ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk development, including dashboards, knowledge objects, and SPL scripting.
- Solid understanding of application development principles within an SDLC environment.
- Ability to write and optimize complex SPL queries for high-performance searches and analytics.
- Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to define Splunk use cases and data visualization requirements.
