Role: Solution Architect Location: Anywhere in US (50% Travel needed from JAN 2021) Duration: Full Time Job Description: Java / J2EE 8+ or .NET Framework Web Application Development Solution Architecture OOAD Design Patterns API Design & Development Cloud Native Architecture Microservice Architecture - Must have implementation experience in 1 or more projects. Monolith to Microservice decomposition experience will be an added adv. Application Modernization - Must be able to define a modernization solution and a road map with detailed technical solution Cost/Effort Estimation - Must be able to estimate project effort based on abstract details DevOps - Must have very good understanding of what is DevOps, maturity model, measuring maturity, evolution, tooling, culture. Container Management Platforms (GKE/AKS/EKS/Kubernetes/OpenShift/Tanzu) -Good to have advanced level understanding of Kubernetes architecture. Importance of platform first approach, operations, security etc. API Security Service Mesh Architecture and ISTIO - Good to have fundamental understanding of what is Service Mesh, why use it, when to use it, what implementations are available. Benefits and Risks. Agile delivery frameworks (DAD, Scrum, SAFe ) - Must have hands on project experience adopting Agile. Should understand nuances of moving from waterfall to Agile based delivery, distributed Agile. Certification is plus. AWS / Azure / GCP - Good to have a public cloud solution architect certification with any provider Pre-sales Experience Sales / Account Management Problem Solving As part of Client Digital and Analytics practice you will be at the forefront of digital revolution in a customer facing role, helping Client customers through their digital transformation journey. You will be part of modern applications pre-sales sales team helping our customers realize their digital dreams by applying a variety of architecture paradigms, using a breadth of technologies and applying industry best practices. What You'll Need To Be Successful Ability to create and effectively deliver technology solution presentations to address specific customer needs Broad understanding of various technologies and frameworks across all architecture tiers Solid command over microservices based architecture, design patterns and microservice frameworks. Demonstrated experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end, sometimes simultaneously Working knowledge of on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, Agile, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements while evangelizing integration methodologies and supporting business case justification to C-level executives Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business clients to derive value added services and implementations Ability to travel to address customer needs, focused within Region What You'll Achieve 3 months Able to clearly articulate Client digital offerings, transformation approach and accelerators that differentiate Client Develop a good understanding of Client past digital transformation engagements and be able to talk about them with conviction Participate in Client Technical Product and Consulting Services training, methodology, and enablement Begin participation in field activities with clients and practicing enablement gained from training Complete Client technical certifications and fully ramp up on technology and implementation methodologies; start to develop and contribute subject matter expertise and project deliverables to internal knowledge exchange 12 months Continue to support D&A sales teams to grow business by winning new deals Identify opportunities to expand Client footprint and drive further services and customer service, and drive partnerships and cross collaboration with Client partners, SIs, and 3rd Parties Evangelize, train, coach, and mentor Services team members on hard technical skills and soft skills Identify opportunities and efficiencies in customers IT operating model, and support implementation of the SLDC pipeline to get greater value out of the Client platform. Develop reusable content such as blog posts and technical whitepapers. Work with Client product leadership providing valuable product insight, guiding product direction and features.
