Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities: Solr Engineer
Work closely with clients to establish technology solutions at business and technical level.
Help to build client relationships and participate in business development and proposal work.
Requirements:
Good knowledge on one or more Cloud platform – (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
Experience with a Microservices implementation using Cloud stack
Prior hands-on experience of working on Apache Kafka, Confluent Cloud, Dataflow, Cloud pub/sub, Spark, Apache Beam
Prior expertise on the implementation of Search services in eCommerce sites – preferably Solr
Expertise in design and implementation of services using NoSQL database
Expected to have good knowledge on SAAS – framework for Algolia
Hands-on experience on search services migration, on-prem to cloud services
Experience on relevancy, ranking and other merchandising customizations in Search implementations
Experience on Solr search, integrated with WCS
Experience on handling ETL and pipeline for data integration to Ecommerce catalog
Experience in eCommerce frameworks - preferably WCS
Prior experience on the design and implementation of Content services
Hands-on experience with implementation of integrating eCommerce with inventory and pricing services
Experience in cross-cloud platform communications
Hands-on experience in configuration of Edge/CDN and implementation of Query caching
Prior Experience of performance and application fine tuning for the implementations
Expertise in design of third party integrations
Prior experience in implementation of site-wide data-metrics
