Job Description

The development team is looking for a self-motivated software engineer -Global Expansion to join our team.

Team members will pair program with PayPal engineers. Pairs will rotate on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Who would work on this project?
Engineers with 3+ years of experience building software or web applications
Ability to work in a collaborative environment, frequently in pair programming sessions
Experience with agile development methodologies, test driven development (TDD), extracting / refactoring code into services, domain-driven design, and CI/CD
Experience writing applications or services with Ruby on Rails and Java / Dropwizard or other Java frameworks
Experience building microservices that are deployed on Kubernetes
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS)
Payment processor integrations, including certification
Bank / Financial institution integrations
Credit card network (Ex: Visa / Mastercard) integrations
