Responsible for providing technical leadership while actively engaging in the design, development, implementation, and support of multi-layered enterprise applications. This includes not only performing the appropriate software development lifecycle activities, but also serving as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers. Serves as a subject matter expert in one or more aspects of software engineering best practices, which includes but is not limited to front-end UI & UX, APIs & micro services, schema development, and SecDevOps. Explores emerging technologies and anticipates industry disruptions. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and conforms to coding standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for technical analysis, design and development of complex changes or project milestones across multiple systems within a Platform, including troubleshooting, containment, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
Must be able to lead and execute technical initiatives that could span across multiple systems.
Serve as a mentor to Software Engineers I, II, including assisting and training on technical and data analysis, problem solving, and code reviews to spread strengths across team members.
Proactively engages with stakeholders through verbal interviews and other data gathering activities in order to support the development of and enhancements to applications and services.
Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities.
Works with business analysts and customers to resolve problems and help plan for future needs. Involves working within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate controls.
Works with users to understand use of systems and system enhancement or modification needs.
Uses computer and analysis knowledge to analyze, design, and write new application systems. Involves color perception to design color enhanced computer screens.
Creates and modifies complex applications programs, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
The on-call team representative participates in a weekly rotation, ensuring availability for production support activities outside of standard working hours. They handle daily validations and rare after-hours validations, typically taking 10-15 minutes each day. The representative must be reachable within 30 minutes outside of 7 PM to 7 AM Central and is compensated for active work hours resulting from on-call escalations. Accurate time tracking and reporting are essential, and contractors must submit detailed invoices reflecting all hours worked for approval and payment.
4+years experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git). Shape Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4?6+ years of relevant experience in Power Platform development. Expertise in OOP, design patterns, and advanced Power Platform configurations (plugins, workflows, actions).
Experience with data migration tools (SSIS, Kingsway) and Power Apps security management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
