Job Description :

Must have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management (AWS Terraform), serverless functions (AWS Lambda) and Kubernetes deployment pipelines
  • Data engineering experience & familiarity with ETL patterns, data modeling, SQL, and data pipeline optimization
  • Privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and data security best practices
  • 5 + years designing CDP architecture & user behavior eventing infrastructure

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Typescript and NodeJS development for Express.js web apps a plus
  • Experience with Linux command-line and Git
  • Familiar with continuous integration

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and implement a major project while supporting and consulting on other projects within the current software domain.
  2. Define and drive technical vision, strategy, and architecture for team-owned components.
  3. Take initiative to identify and solve important problems, possibly in unfamiliar areas, coordinating with others on cross-cutting technical issues.
  4. Self-assess knowledge gaps needed to effectively solve business problems and take proactive steps to fill them.
  5. Back up design decisions with empirical evidence through proof of concepts, tests, and/or external research.
  6. Collaborate with product management to align technical solutions with business goals.
  7. Should be flexible to solve customer issues/production issues according to urgency
  8. Partner with roadmap stakeholders to drive requirements that take into account all parties' needs.
  9. Deliver new functionality iteratively and incrementally, prioritizing business value.
  10. Independently work in unfamiliar areas of the codebase, identifying technical debt before it grows into significant issues.
  11. Understand architectural patterns (e.g., MVC, microservices) and apply them effectively in design decisions.
  12. Provide respectful and actionable technical guidance to peers via code reviews, mentorship, or other team processes.
  13. Communicate effectively across functions and work well with roadmap stakeholders.
  14. Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  15. Evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
  16. Provide thought leadership in software engineering practices and methodologies.
  17. Act as a technical liaison with other teams and stakeholders.
  18. Lead by example through writing high-quality, maintainable code and adhering to best practices.
