Job Description
We are looking for exceptionally bright individuals to join our product development team. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, customer-focused product development team. This role requires candidates with quick learning skills, passion for innovation, a penchant for details and good communication skills. The ideal candidate would be ready to explore, experiment and innovate in areas that are both familiar as well as in new technology areas unknown to them. We are looking for a self-starter who can run with ideas and produce tangible results.
Responsibilities
- Writes actionable, testable user stories based on input from product development team
- Facilitates the design and development of test cases for manual testing.
- Runs through test cases designed using a combination of automated and manual tests.
- Create a comprehensive Testing Framework and Test Plan that covers all requirements. Specially, the Test Plan will outline the testing to be performed with clear pass/fail reports to the organization. Additional testing activities include System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, User Interface Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Security Testing.
- Facilitates the design and development of automated test methodologies, collaborating with engineering and product teams to implement shift left techniques on test design and automation
- Leverages coding expertise in the development and maintenance of test tools and frameworks to validate unit, integration and functional tests of the system
- Support test engineering efforts to implement enterprise frameworks to enhance overall testing capabilities
- Work in an agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
- Coordinate with junior test team members to implement the testing frameworks being implemented for a product release.
- Be able to coordinate and work with the Product Development Team, Application Development Team and the Production Support Team
Required Skills
- Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience in related fields
- At least 6 years of hands on software testing experience.
- At least 2-3 years of hands on automated testing experience.
- Understanding of test cases, organization of test modules, reuse of test cases, test data generation.
- User Interface skills to find user interface issues and identify usability issues.
- Performance testing skills to run through load tests and identify issues.
- Working knowledge of Java or other high level Programming required in Test Automation of either User Interfaces (Selenium or Selenide)/Service/API/data validation.
- Experience with creating test automation frameworks and tools.
