Duration: 5 years
We are seeking motivated candidates to join our team of developers in creating, maintaining, updating, and debugging mission-relevant web applications. A successful candidate will need to be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, JIRA, MySQL, and Linux. In addition, they should possess solid knowledge and experience in programming in an Agile development environment and have knowledge of PHP or python, an ability to accurately estimate level of effort, and be willing to take on new tasks and research viable solutions to complex problems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required:
Bachelor39;s degree or 12+ years of related technical experience in application development
Experience with an MVVM framework, such as Backbone, React, Angular, etc.
Experience with a CSS framework, such as Bootstrap or Material Design
Experience using a client-side templating engine, such as Underscore, Handlebars, etc.
Experience using jQuery and various form-related plugins
Experience working with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Subversion from the command line
Experience working in a Linux environment
Experience with scripting languages, such as PHP, Python, etc.
Experience debugging and performing maintenance on existing code base
Experience with designing and maintaining a relational database
Experience with SQL and creating, modifying complex queries
Experience working in an Agile environment, (Sprints, Backlog Grooming, Story Points)
Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Experience deploying applications to a web server
Experience managing a web server
User experience/user interface design skills
Experience using a charting library, such as D3.js, Chart.js, etc.
Scrum certification desirable
