Responsibilities:
Elicit subject matter expert expectations on the behavior of the system
Review the requirements and designs and ensure their correctness, accuracy, clarity and completeness by actively engaging Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, and Developers
Analyze upcoming or requested enhancements’ potential impact to the application and/or end users
Raise and monitor requirements’ ambiguities
Assist business analysts to clarify requirements’ ambiguities
Develop and maintain manual tests independent of the tests developed by the vendor
Establish and maintain traceability between test cases and requirements/design documents
Collaborate with the vendor to ensure the test environment is available and fully operational on determined dates
Generate test data
Verify the system’s conformance to defined user stories, functional requirements
Perform nonfunctional testing covering usability and documentation
Utilize HPQC for documenting and escalating defects
Utilize Microsoft SharePoint for documenting all outcomes, for reporting progress to management, and for collaborating with team members
Document and implement test strategies, plans, processes, and standards on the conduct of IV and UAT
Create and maintain configuration notes for the testing environments
Receive input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback

Mandatory Qualifications:
Studies the software application domain, prepares software requirements, and specification documents. Liaises between the software users and the software developers. Conveys the demands of software users to the developers. Skills include working knowledge of software technology; computer programming experience/expertise; general business knowledge; problem solving/reduction skills; interpersonal relation skills; flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:
84 months experience documenting, implementing test strategies, plans, and scripts as well as executing unit, system integration and functional testing for complex business processes
84 months collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze application usability and performance needs
84 months experience analyzing business requirements and Use Cases, identifying requirements gaps and working with business analysts to resolve them as well as converting requirements to technical specifications
84 months experience in creating test plans and test cases for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to include preparing traceability matrix to validate test coverage
84 months experience with reviewing acceptance criteria and performing system, integration, smoke, sanity, functional, end to end, positive, and negative testing as well as documenting/tracking defects
84 months experience creating automated test scripts using automated tools as well as automating test results/validations using various regression controls
84 months experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include various technologies, test documentation and procedures
84 months working with Microsoft Suite, HP ALM/QC, and SnagIt
24 months in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, in computer science or Information Systems or a related computer field
