Job Title: SME PMO Lead

Location: Remote or Chantilly, VA

Duration: Chantilly, VA

Here are his job duties:

  • Assist the PMO Division in implementing IT project standards, governance framework and execution methodologies for the IT department.
  • Manage program level Lessons Learned Repository, conduct project review meetings, program level risks and issues register.
  • Act as liaison between technical and business staff in implementing standards across the IT organization.
  • Develop IT standards guide in the areas of project management, application development, quality assurance and security.
  • Garner contributions from Project Managers, Development Team, QA Team and Security Team to ensure that the standards developed meet best practices. Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio.
  • Prepare consolidated material from project reports for weekly and monthly review, prepare and distribute monthly IT PMO reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate IT projects, releases, and requirements gathering sessions, training and the development of information system documentation efforts.
  • Review and provide written comments for deliverables designed by contractors and ensure the deliverables address all business and functional requirements as expected.
  • Defined, Developed and Implemented PMO processes, policies, communications and various practice tools.
  • Driven yearly Input goal forecast planning, quarters funding, budgeting, resources and forecast of product features/developments.
  • Lead strategical and operational practices between TurboTax and QuickBooks offerings collaboration.

  • Asana tool expertise to generate Project goals, timelines, activities automation tracking and project portfolio, Agile project management software Wrike tool expertise, Project Management activities Function Fox tool, Project Planning and Monitoring Click Up Tool, Project functionality tracking Smartsheet Tool
  • Agile Lifecycle Management Tools: Jira and Rally
  • Strong tool administrative knowledge in Raptor framework, Spring, Spring boot framework,
  • JAXS, Apache Tomcat server, Aerospike Cache mechanism
  • IT Integration Tools: REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON, Postman, SOAPUI
  • Microsoft office tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Safe Agile framework Administrative in VersionOne tool
  • User story estimation tool administrative in Agile Estimation Tool
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
