Job Title: SME Linux Administrator (SE Linux / HPC)

Location: Springfield, VA (100% Onsite)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (Mandatory)

Job Summary: We are working with a Global Government Defense Contractor seeking a highly experienced SME Linux Administrator to support an enterprise MLS environment within a High Performance Computing (HPC) program. The role involves working extensively with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SE Linux (MLS/MAC), automation, and secure system configurations supporting mission-critical environments.

Key Skills Required:

Strong expertise in RHEL and SE Linux (MLS, MAC, policy configuration, debugging)
Experience with HPC environments and technologies (CSCF preferred)
Proficiency in Bash/Expect scripting and automation tools like Ansible
Experience with Satellite Server, patching, and custom kernel builds
Strong troubleshooting skills including Linux kernel debugging (crash, systemtap)
Experience with LDAP, identity management, and secure networking
Familiarity with InfiniBand, RDMA, Lustre/NFS, and high-speed fabrics

Responsibilities Include:

Developing and managing SE Linux MLS configurations
Automating deployments and maintaining system security compliance (RMF, RTB)
Supporting HPC performance and infrastructure optimization
Collaborating with DevSecOps, Security, and Architecture teams
Troubleshooting and resolving system and configuration issues
