Sitecore Developer Location: Starting remote then in Chicago, IL (South of Downtown) Type: 8+ Month Contract Job description This individual will be part of a team that creates and extends Sitecore modules and templates, developing on our client's Sitecore Experience Platform cloud implementation. Leverage existing and create new Sitecore modules that integrate into the overall Sitecore architecture, to build usable, accessible, standards-compliant, high-performance Sitecore modules and components. Work with HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks, as well as back-end .NET, develop and maintain sites across a range of CMS platforms. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of professional web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) including prior project experience implementing content managed sites using Sitecore Solid understanding of Sitecore architecture, modules and templates Expertise with web editors (e.g. BBEdit, Sublime, etc, and graphics software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) Solid understanding of web accessibility and usability, including cross-platform and browser issues Ability to provide work samples, preferably in an online portfolio Experience developing graphical user interfaces for websites, with examples Experience designing and coding web and/or native apps for mobile environments preferred Ability to mentor or act as a project/team lead Preferred additional experience with wire-framing or rapid prototyping skills using tools such as Visio or Axure
