Hi, Excellent opportunity Site Support In West Point, PA , Rahway, NJ Role: Site Support Location: West Point, PA , Rahway, NJ Duration :Contract JD: Site Support responsibilities: Provide 7X24 on-site support & facilitate remote support services Serve as an IT Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for pilot plant operations Coordinate with MRL IT and GIO infrastructure to resolve support issues through IT organizations Serve as change owner, deviation owner, CAPA owner (and Manager), perform risk assessments for all MRL IT related events Implement data integrity practices to secure systems Support problems with communication such as SFN Firewalls Provide IT administration tasks including user accesses to the instrument, automation servers Own and Support IT Variances. Ensure business areas are operating according to IT Procedures. Support Enterprise Resiliency initiatives for computing systems. Collaborate with GIO infrastructure automation teams to coordinate and manage automation server builds, configurations, etc. Collaborate with AMS to coordinate and support automated patching: Monitor for patch compliance, reboot servers after patching in controlled fashion, and ensure return to normal operation (support might be needed to reboot the server, coordinate downtime with the business, and confirm that the application is back online again Facilitate maintenance of DeltaV servers, as these are linked to DeltaV Hotfix and require DeltaV Engineer Access. Manage Backup / Restore / Disaster Recovery / Backup Validity of automation servers and desktop computers Manage life cycle of IT hardware, maintaining spares as well for Lab / Shop floor systems Manage lab hard drives / memory / keyboard / Mouse / Cabling HDMI, Ethernet, power Assist with change control and SDLC for MRL IT projects - not SDLC for equipment validation Demand Management responsibilities: Strategy Development and executing migrating legacy systems / next generation software/ standard technology implementation i.e. Equipment Database /SIPAT/MES) Coordinating demand management / capital planning (MRL IT to lead in partnership with business) IT Monitoring responsibilities: Backup execution, backup failure troubleshooting, and communication to the business (for Physical / Virtual Servers) Troubleshoot windows event errors proactively to minimize business downtime and communicate with windows team Monitor server uptime and performance to ensure continuous operation, and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize impact to business. Coordinate with GIO and AMS as needed. Support responsibilities: Collaborate with MRL Pilot Plant automation teams to support shop floor activities Serve as a tactical IT resource and an escalation coordinator with other IT organizations such as Lab Computing, HelpDesk, remote support teams, etc. Assist trouble shooting of infrastructure, computers, servers, networking, and IT interfaces with Automation systems such as DeltaV, PI, MES and other local systems Assist with authoring, updating of SOP documents and SDLC documents Track incident data responsibilities: Document all support calls, by time, type, workaround, resolution, length of time to correct, and any other relevant information using Remedy system.
