Role: Site Reliability Engineer (10+ ys)

Location: NYC, NY - Initial Remote
Duration: 6+ months contract

Interview: Phone and Skype

Overview:

This role is a bridge between software development (engineering) and operations (system administration). Should know how to automate almost everything.
Needing a professional with solid background in coding/automation, that uses that experience to solve problems in infrastructure and operations.

Qualifications:

Must understand Java code at the current level of client's expectations (i.e. to the same level as a Back End Software Engineers).
Proven understanding of and the ability to use Monitoring and Diagnostic tools - no specific tools experience required, butthis Site Reliability Engineer must have used these applications in the past and have possession of a conceptual understanding (this is a must have).
Must understand production space/area.

This is a tokenization, credit card payment division that develops advancements in digital payment technologies (*see Tech Stack below)

Proven ability to isolate and debug issues.
Proven ability to provide fixes to common problems such as “property missing” or “JVM parameters wrong”.
