Job Title: IT Site Infrastructure Engineer - Level 2

Job Duration: 6 Months

Contract with possibility of extension.

Hybrid role in Orlando, FL

3 days in office and 2 days remote

Key Skills:

- Credentials in RCBD certification. Construction experience with low voltage. Would be a huge plus.

• Actively participates in the estimation processes utilizing due diligence assessment for approved projects in the site/facility technology space. Helps ensure that Sales, Marketing and Resort Management IT site infrastructures are delivered in time to support business needs

• Ability to assess status and prioritize multiple concurrent projects at the task level.

• Ability to work in a team structure, driving to aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment amongst IT professionals.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts and subjects in a clear and concise manner.

What You'll Do:

  • Acts as technical subject matter expert for day to day activities (plan, design, configure) related to technology deployments for sites and facilities (fulfillment) projects.
  • Direct contact with the project management and technology project and support teams ensuring technology requirements and integration dependencies are understood and incorporated into execution plans.
  • Contribute to cost models and diagram packages. Part of the IT leadership on small construction projects representing IT (including structured cabling, main distribution frame design, intermediate distribution frame design and other IT needs required).
  • Directly involved in the technical delivery components related to planning, installation (as needed), testing, deployment, and support of all site technologies which include LAN operations and design, network security (firewall), servers, routers, MDF security cameras, UPS, along with cabling. This includes the integration of multiple technologies.
  • Works with the IT Site Infrastructure/Operations Manager, project managers, and business sponsors to assess and adjust project priorities.
  • Works with technical teams to map technical integration points and ensure proper support documentation. 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor degree in related field (preferably engineering) or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Over 5 years of work experience in a medium to large diverse in-depth, enterprise-wide technical environment integrating, implementing and supporting technologies, specifically around network and telecommunication and client/server integration.
  • Over 2 years of work experience in a medium to large technical environment supporting infrastructure that supports the development and the deployment of business software applications.
  • Moderate level of server infrastructure and network and telecommunications architectural understanding.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products; Visio and Project.
  • Capable of reviewing construction documents to the level of communicating technology infrastructure requirements. 
  • Credentials in RCBD certification is highly desired.
  • Construction experience with low voltage is highly desired.
