Work Hours: In the office 8am-5pm daily with exceptions made for meetings with geographically dispersed teams.

Overview:
We are seeking a business-side SharePoint Specialist with extensive experience working with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint Designer; that is, both on prem and online versions as well as extensive experience working between Classic and Modern UI; Hub Sites and site collections, using Managed Metadata and the Term Store, master pages, access control groups, creating custom views, and other advanced aspects of SharePoint.

The ideal candidate has experience building SharePoint sites where User Experience an User Interface is critically important. This person is technically proficient when it comes to the business applications in the Office 365 suite, particularly SharePoint, Excel, Flow, PowerApps, and other tools designed for business users to build engaging, effective SharePoint Online sites and solutions. However, this role reports up through Marketing and works collaboratively with IT. This is not a development role- working with code to build applications but rather to build SharePoint sites and solutions using OOTB SharePoint functionality and other business-side add-on tools.

Responsibilities:
Build business solutions using existing business applications, generally leveraging Office 365 technology including workflows, new SharePoint sites, calendars, etc.
Provide thought leadership by identifying solutions to problems and ideas to implement that creates more value-add
Work with business users to understand their needs, translate business needs into design requirements and gather additional requirements to create a SharePoint site that meets those needs within established Marketing and IT guidelines and policies
Develop SharePoint sites using OOTB functionality, page and site templates, and add-on tools like ShortPoint eliminating the use of custom code
Assist in migrating content to SharePoint Online—including developing and reviewing migration plans and making recommendations
Implement and configure web parts, lists, libraries, views, forms and other SharePoint solutions
Communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical business users and stakeholders in a simple, concise, and direct manner
Train end-users on basic functionality both via web meetings and documentation (e.g., training manuals and job aids
Create SharePoint sites in Classic or Modern UI
Build SharePoint pages with ShortPoint elements
Build forms and workflows using Office 365 tools including Flow and PowerApps
Create other work productivity tools such as shared calendars using SharePoint web and app parts
Maintain documentation and build PowerBI reports to track work

Qualifications:
Technical- Required
Advanced proficiency (6+ years’ experience) in the following tools:
o Strong SharePoint 2013 to 2016 skills and experience, emphasis on the 2016+ online version including:
Modern and Classic UI
Hub Sites and Site Collections
Managed Metadata and Term Store
Access control groups
Inheritance
Security and compliance center
Creating custom views Master Pages
Web apps and web parts

SharePoint designer:
o User Interface/ Front-end design work using business-side CSS toolsets like ShortPoint
o Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, and OneNote, as well as Internet research tools
o Proficient using Excel to report on data in meaningful displays incorporating pivot tables, graphs, and charts in a way that facilitates business and operational insights.
Intermediate proficiency (3-5 years’ experience) in the following tools:
o Microsoft Visio
o PowerBI
o InfoPath

Technical- Preferred:
ShortPoint (SharePoint add-on) or similar front-end business-user UI development tool
Business Objects
Adobe Creative Suite
Power Apps
Experience building and/or updating automated workflows in tools such as SharePoint, Flow, AgilePoint, Nintex, etc.
Proficient working with Cloud solutions
Experience in an analytics-focused role or role reporting on content usage
Knowledge of Kapost, Kentico, Edgecast, Service Now, Fluid Topics, Ixiasoft, Sharegate

Required Experience:
College degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Management, or related field, or substitution with 8+ years’ experience.
6+ years of experience working with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Stream, PowerApps, Forms, Flow, Power BI, CSS, HTML
6+ years of experience working with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online. SharePoint Designer; that is, both on prem and online versions as well as extensive experience working between Classic and Modern UI
