Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Architect having 13+ years of experience to join our team. The SharePoint Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that leverage SharePoint and Power Platform technologies to address business needs. The SharePoint Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions that maximize the potential of these platforms.
Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture: Architect and design end-to-end solutions that leverage SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities to meet business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
2. SharePoint Online: Design & Develop solutions using SharePoint Online out of the box and custom features. Understand the differences between the platforms and provide guidance on choosing the most suitable approach for each scenario.
3. Power Platform Development: Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate to develop custom applications, automate business processes, and deliver insightful visualizations. Design and implement canvas and model-driven apps, workflows, and business intelligence solutions.
4. SharePoint Customization: Customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and forms using out-of-the-box configurations, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Implement custom web parts, extensions, and solutions to address unique business requirements.
5. Integration and Data Connectivity: Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform with other enterprise systems, such as Azure, CRM, ERP, and databases. Utilize connectors, APIs, and custom development to establish seamless data connectivity and enable efficient information flow.
6. Governance and Security: Define and enforce governance policies, security controls, and compliance standards within SharePoint and Power Platform solutions. Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, access controls, and best practices for information management.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, administrators, and developers on SharePoint and Power Platform functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting. Create user documentation and conduct workshops to promote effective utilization of the platforms.
8. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement optimization strategies to enhance the performance and scalability of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions. Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose remedial actions.
9. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and administrators, to ensure successful solution delivery. Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a SharePoint/Power Platform Solution Architect or a similar role, with a strong understanding of SharePoint, Power Platform and other related M365 technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises, including customization, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SPFx.
- Experience integrating SharePoint and Power Platform with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and other SharePoint development tools.
- Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance best practices within SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver SharePoint/Power Platform projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, and Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Hybrid Deployment and Migration are a plus.
