Title SFDC Architect Foster City, CA Role Description: The Salesforce Architect would need to have at least 15 years of experience designing and fielding enterprise applications on The Technical Architect (TA) will work within and help the Enterprise Architecture Team to create a single vision that directs the design, construction, purchase, deployment and management of information systems and information technology. The TA will drive and govern the infrastructure design, capacity planning, and system/application development interaction, produce an architectural roadmap and deliver real life business benefits from an architectural blueprint. Responsibilities: - Demonstrates mastery of broad technical knowledge, with emphasis on depth of knowledge in full life cycle application development, middleware technology and n-tier architecture in the toolset. - Leadership experience, interpersonal and decision making skills. - Orchestration/Workflow management design experience - Strong background in a variety of operating systems (Linux/Unix), server technologies, software tools and programming languages (SFDC) - Participates in analysis of business strategies, technologies, and tools needed for enterprise systems and services. - Involved in assigned major projects and initiatives to create end-to-end enterprise architecture including execution architecture, application/development architecture (planning/design/prototype only) and operation architecture. - Develops and maintains enterprise architecture model and standards, including conceptualization and planning, system design and implementation design. - Conducts systems architecture assessments of new and existing infrastructure and software (including open source); develops tactical plans to address short term deficiencies in current infrastructure. - Develops/reviews technical documents to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with technology directions. - Interfaces directly with Sales/business units and IT teams to analyze and resolve technical issues. Core Competencies: - 15 or more years of designing complex, high transaction volume, enterprise-wide business solutions using tools. - Experience developing white papers and guidelines needed to support design and implementation of IT platforms. - Exceptional corporate presentation and relationship-building skills. - Strategic thinker with sales intelligence, a strong presence and the ability to create, influence, and drive customer vision. - Effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals. - Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology based solutions. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional organizations and customers. - Excellent customer communications, interaction and presentation skills are required. - Must be a team player, who is self-motivated, organized and pays strict attention to detail. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to travel as needed.
