ServiceNow Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and design high-level architecture for ServiceNow solutions across modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, FSM, and SPM.

  • Develop architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices.

  • Align ServiceNow architecture with enterprise IT strategy and digital transformation goals.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and implementation teams.

  • Lead technical design sessions and code reviews.

  • Oversee the development and deployment of ServiceNow applications and custom modules.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.

  • Lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SAML, and middleware platforms.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Present architectural decisions and roadmaps to executives, including CIOs and CTOs.

  • Conduct workshops, demos, and technical presentations.

  • Establish governance frameworks for ServiceNow development and deployment.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

  • Maintain detailed documentation including design specs, workflows, and technical guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in a ServiceNow architect role.

  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules.

  • Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, FSM, and SPM.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

  • Experience in leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations.

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
