Job Description
" More than 8 years of development, configuration, and integration experience in building solution on ServiceNow platform.
" Total Architecting experience for more than 12-14 years min.
Architect:
" Contribute to internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements.
" Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents, architecture diagrams, system documentation, and manuals.
" Ability to develop high level design documents addressing the business, infrastructure, security, support, and operational needs of a solution.
Technical Expertise:
" Provide functional expertise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all application suites respective to their product line.
" Domain separation knowledge in ServiceNow is must.
" Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and perform resolution efforts.
" Assist teams with associated technical and process activities.
Standards & Best Practice:
" Contribute to the technical direction, recommend, and design the solution to leverage the ServiceNow best practices and out of the box functionality.
" Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration and application development, while also promoting best practices in these areas
" Provide mentorship and project oversight to ServiceNow ITOM developers and implementation specialists.
" Provide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practices.
" Oversee developers work, and own overall quality and delivery of development.
" Understanding of platform security and integration best practices
" Maintain instance integrity & security based on ServiceNow best practices.
CMDB & CSDM:
" Understands CMDB relationships and hierarchy, experience in CMDB Health dashboard configuration and with CMDB remediation including duplicate and stale CI items
" Understanding of the Identification and Reconciliation engine
" Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM data model.
" Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB CSDM data model.
Scope & Complexity of Environments
" Proven success on projects with large-scale deployments; understanding of infra domain life-cycle management.
Platform Architect Advisory:
" Experience in designing and implementing complex, multi-tier, multi-tenant, end-to-end solutions in a high availability environment.
" Good knowledge of multi data center deployment solutions with disaster recovery procedures and high availability at every layer (network, web servers, middleware, and database/storage)
" Preferred certifications: ServiceNow CIS-Discovery, ServiceNow CIS-Service Mapping
Technical knowledge of the following areas :
" Java, HTML, JavaScript, LDAP/Active Directory
" Working knowledge of configuration management tools, methods, and processes.
" Basic knowledge and awareness of various other modules like ITSM, CSM.
" Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of CMDB solutions in ServiceNow environments
" Expert level proficiency in ITOM /CMDB product line
" Code and Develop customized Patterns, Probes and Sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.
" Sound knowledge in CMDB and it operation management
" Deliver technical workshops on Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping
" Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping
" Knowledge on identification, classification rule in CMDB
" Articulate the ServiceNow CMDB Classes for Asset and Configuration, their relationships and dependencies
" Required Hands on experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementations
" Required Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB Architecture
" Self-directed, organized, detail-oriented
