Job Description We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Implementation Lead Engineer who can guide the full lifecycle of ServiceNow platform solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, architectural understanding, hands-on development skills, and the ability to work closely with business and IT stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of ServiceNow modules while ensuring best practices, platform governance, and long-term maintainability. You will serve as the technical point of contact, mentor junior engineers, and ensure smooth delivery of all ServiceNow enhancements and projects.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions across various modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, or others based on business needs.

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate needs into functional and technical designs.

Design workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, integrations, and automation solutions within ServiceNow.

Oversee the configuration and customization of ServiceNow applications, ensuring adherence to platform standards and best practices.

Manage integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, MID servers, and automation frameworks.

Provide technical leadership to the ServiceNow development team, reviewing code and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Maintain platform performance, security, data integrity, and system upgrades.

Prepare documentation for solutions, architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation processes.

Support testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization.

Act as the primary advisor for ServiceNow roadmap, platform enhancements, and process optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications -
12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7 10 years focused on ServiceNow platform engineering and implementation.

Proven experience leading ServiceNow projects end-to-end, including design, development, configuration, and deployment.

Strong technical knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Asset Management, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC).

Hands-on expertise with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, business rules, and client/server scripting.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, web services, and integration hubs.

Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Ability to create architectural documentation, technical specifications, and implementation designs.

Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in an Agile or iterative environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS (any module), or CTA are preferred.
