Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Columbus, OH(Onsite)

ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the development and modification to ServiceNow applications in support of the automation of business processes. Provide administration and maintenance support of current ServiceNow environment and future environments based on core business initiatives. Advise Leadership on approaches and best practices for administering and maintaining a ServiceNow installation with ITSM, ITOM and ITAM capabilities.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

Create, maintain and enhance Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portals, single sign on (SSO) capability, and Active Directory Profile synchronization.

Create, maintain and enhance team Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.

Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.

Coordinate and Execute application and platform upgrades.

Integrate and maintain Service Desk Knowledge Base, policies and procedure documentation within ServiceNow.

Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting.

Identify, maintain and track all information and best practices concerning new releases related to ServiceNow development and core modules

Collaborate with Software Development and Support Engineers on automation and integration within the ServiceNow platform and core systems related to IT Operations (i.e. Monitoring, Patching, Security, Remote Software Distribution, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in an enterprise ServiceNow environment
  • 3+ years ITSM, ITOM, ITAM implementation and maintenance experience
  • 1+ years of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence related to ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Implementation Specialist (or equivalent experience)
  • ITIL Foundations
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and Python
  • Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
  • Understands Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, InTune/Azure Mobile Device Management and how they are used to patch Windows desktop systems and Mobile device applications
  • Understands IP networking: Cisco, TCP/IP, Windows Server, Network Security, and disaster recovery as they pertain to end-user systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including the ability to confidently present to all levels of management
  • Results-driven, process oriented, and always serving as an advocate for our end user experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems preferred (or equivalent experience)

This person should have a thorough understanding of applicable ITIL processes and methodologies
