Job Description
:
Position: ServiceNow CMDB Admin / Analyst L3 Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: Contract ServiceNow CMDB admin/analyst is experienced with the day to day configuration and management of the ServiceNow CMDB focused on ensuring operational integrity of the ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery processes, integrations, audit and data clean-up activities. This includes: Fulfilling CMDB related service requests. Make structural or configuration changes to CMDB, technical lead on production implementation of CMDB integrations or adjustments to Discovery and validate they meet requirements Update CMDB when mass updates are required, such as writing fix scripts, importing data Ensure compliance with configuration mgt process Generate configuration management reports as needed Manage Reconciliation rules and data integrity of the CMDB Monitor and maintain discovery and integration jobs operationally, including establishment of monitoring for failures, reporting to facilitate identification of problems Determine corrective actions to reconciliation or data integration errors Execute corrective actions to eliminate errors Perform on going analysis of CMDB Health Metrics to resolve issues and identify improvements Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of reports and dashboards as needed Collecting and reporting on metrics as required Identifying and reporting on noncompliance situations Performing CM audits as directed and identifying service improvement opportunities Mentoring and helping direct less experienced resources who work in the CMDB day to day or who operationally manage CI's in the CMDB
