Job Description-
The Solution Architect is a key member of the ServiceNow implementation
project team andis responsible for the overall design of the application
and mapping client business requirements from the project team to
systems/technical requirements. The SolutionThe architect works as a team
member along with the Project Manager and supporting team members to
deliver the complete solution for the customer.Participate in process flow
analysis and process redesign along with the ProjectManager Share best
practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of
theproject Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer
requirements Co-team with the Technical Architect to produce a technical
specification for customdevelopment and systems integration requirements
Participate in internal projects as required Maintain current ServiceNow
knowledge through self-study and utilization of availabletrainingAssist the
Pre-Sales team with scoping service engagements typically involving
multiple ServiceNow products and complex integrations with client
applications/systemsServe as primary technical point-of-contact for
projects and as the face of the development team to the customerDefine, at
an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned
with our client s business problems and ServiceNow Implementation Best
PracticesUnderstand customer requirements, translate to solutions, and
communicate to clientsWrite/estimate Stories, monitor Developer s work, and
own overall quality and delivery of development; may perform a portion of
development on Stories that cannot be delegatedResponsible for Sprint demos
and delivery of additional development artifacts, documentation, and
knowledge transfer activities if purchased by the clientWork
collaboratively with Engagement Manager to monitor for scope creep and
resolve critical path technical issues and challengesHelp mentor
Developers, Technical Consultants, and other Solution Architects in
relation to technical design standards and implementation of best
practicesMaintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and
productsPerform research into technology partner or other vendor solutions
in context of client requirements for integration Contribute to the
continual improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the
maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best
practices in consideration of customer needs and requirementsProvide
mentorship and guidance to other members of the team
Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow different applications and
implementation.Set the new project instances from the
beginning.Understanding and experience with the ServiceNow ITSM ,
ITOM,ITBM, CSM ,Discovery,Orchestration and Service Portal applications.
Understanding of technical leading practices around ServiceNow
configuration. Proven ability to design technical solutions and
integrations with SMS, E-mail, Orchestration, Discovery and other upcoming
applications in Servicenow. Proven ability to design Integration solutions
using REST API web services? Experience and/or training on the ServiceNow
Customer Service Management (CSM) application? Ability to both configure
and demonstrate solutions in the ServiceNow platform? Experience designing
and implementing client facing solutions leveraging involving enterprise
software? Experience implementing and integrating enterprise software
applications Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to
the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web
Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPSGood Understanding on PowerShell
Scripting.Good coding experience on HTML, CSS, Java script, AngularjsJS
Good in Servicenow workflows design and flow designer concepts. Involves in
the ServiceNow Discovery,CMDB Maintenance and SLA mappings.Competency in
use of CMDB, incident, problem, asset, change, knowledge, and service
management processes.ITIL Foundations Certification 2-4 years of ServiceNow
architecture.4-8 years of ITSM systems integration and/or implementation
experience and experience with other ITSM softwareShould have participated
in, and be familiar with different project methodologies like Agile and
DevOps.
