Job description
Design, implement and maintain on-premise virtualization infrastructure and cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to infrastructure configuration, processes and service records.
Provide IT support to product owners, developers, QA, and business users.
Provide timely feedback to users on issues.
Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, desktop applications, networks, printers and computer peripherals.
Deploy and support Operating Systems; physical and virtual.
Create and maintain Operating System images.
Business continuity planning and preparation – this includes ensuring backups are completed according to protection requirements and restoring data in the event of data loss.
Training and presentation services including meeting equipment setup; troubleshooting presentation systems and computer issues; maintaining training OS images.
Maintains equipment stock, ordering, inventory, and invoicing.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service; have a strong background in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Unix, Linux administration experience. They should also have a general understanding of security and networking.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or related discipline.
5+ years of IT experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with technical and business stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and remediate issues.
Strong knowledge and proven experience with Firewall Security operating in a multi-site enterprise business, both at the perimeter and internal.
Demonstrable project management experience from specification to implementation.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
