We are seeking to hire a Senior UniData Developer. This position can be performed in the preferred locations: Raleigh, NC, Minneapolis, MN, or Lafayette, LA, but can also be performed in any *** Office in the US.


Your future duties and responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owner and Design teams on requirements and understand desired application capabilities and impacts.
Complete development, design, implementation, architecture design specifications, and maintenance activities.
Approve technical solutions proposed by team members.
Elevate technical issues to IT authorities, including architects.
Work within and across Agile teams to craft and support technical solutions in UniData environment as needed.
Recommend development options, including design, build and test.
Approve the team's technical work.
Conduct testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security.
Resolve technical problems discovered by testers and internal clients.
Respond to and resolves technical issues in a timely manner.
Research issues and perform root cause analysis.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
At least 8 years of shown experience in UniData/Universe/PICK Technologies in development, solutioning and designing.
Minimum 3 years of UNIX experience.
Experience in Agile Methodologies
Experience in working within large teams and offshore development teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
Good understanding in UniData-Java Connections and MQ
Experience in Health Care Insurance highly desirable.
