Job Title: Senior Tenable Systems Engineer
Location: Remote (Preferred locations: Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, New Jersey, Seattle)

  • Key Requirements: Extensive expertise in Tenable and Linux
     
  • Note: This position does not focus on scanners.
     
  • Preferred Qualification: Public Trust clearance is highly advantageous.
     


Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tenable Systems Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and proficiency in Tenable and Linux systems. This role primarily focuses on security engineering and does not involve working solely with scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions utilizing Tenable technologies.
     
  • Design, configure, and optimize Tenable installations within Linux environments.
     
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures align with organizational objectives.
     
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues related to Tenable systems.
     
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on security best practices.
     

Requirements:
 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Tenable and Linux systems.
     
  • Proven track record in security engineering roles.
     
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and methodologies.
     
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
     
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Possession of Public Trust clearance would be highly beneficial for this role.
     

Additional Information:
 

  • This position offers the flexibility of remote work; however, candidates based in Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, New Jersey, or Seattle are preferred.
