Position Description
Working for a dynamic team in a fast-paced client environment. We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic functional testing subject matter expert to join our growing team. In this role you would be responsible for end-to-end testing of telecom products and services to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability. You should have proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. Opportunity to work remotely is available.
Future duties and responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain test deliverables and artifacts (test plans, test cases, test results summary) to test complex applications and system integrations to validate product features and functionality.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of telecom products and services to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify and document software defects, issues, and enhancement opportunities using bug tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, project managers, business analysts, and support staff, Plan using structured testing methodologies to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and new functionality works as intended.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprints, releases, demos, and validations.
  • Planning and scheduling of resources, deliverables, execution, etc. as part of the Test Plan document
  • Confirming test scenario approval by Business Analyst and Development
  • Escalating and resolving issues and risks
  • Coordinating the test environment
  • Hosting defect meetings
  • Creating test sign off documents
Required qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Avaya and CXone is strongly recommended.
  • Experience as a QA resource in the telecom industry, contact center operations, or network infrastructure.
  • Basic understanding of telecom protocols, technologies, and standards
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management systems (e.g., Jira, ALM) is strongly recommended.
  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Solid experience with ALM for test case and defect related modules
  • Working regular US business schedule with flexibility based on project needs, occasional over-time
  • Solid experience with estimation and prioritization
