Job Description :
Lead design change, process change & Supplier change projects following the change management processes Lead and Manage cost improvement projects from idea generation to production implementation following the change management process to reduce the product cost with same or better quality choose the best mfg. processes which achieves highest quality at the lowest cost components- Lead component development activities within the scope of the projects write request for quotes, analyze results and make informed recommendations on best practice for manufacturing Plan process development and execute clear requirement setting expectations to selected Suppliers interpret, challenge and direct effective GD&T discussion that enable robust manufacturing, and enable critical design requirements. Interface with Suppliers directly to ensure design requirements and process capability is achieved perform and interpret cost modeling activities to provide technical information for effective negotiation by others document and maintain process development documentation as directed by EES lead develop and run mechanical reliability and strength testing per directed lab conditions and test procedures/standards Organize and conduct Engineering builds Support Develop, design, validate & start up manufacturing & assembly operations that meet; Team objectives for product quality, cost & performance
