About The Position
The Senior Technical Architect (Platform Integrations) is responsible for establishing the current and long-range direction of enterprise integration technologies aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of transformational change. This position will focus on integration architecture activities that support enterprise objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, develop, refine, optimize, and support the enterprise integration architecture as required to meet the business needs of the organization.
Collaborate with architect peers to development of the integration strategy and architecture blueprint for the organization, overseeing the use of integration best practices.
Provide technical direction to team members; Serve as a key contributor for integration architecture, technologies, patterns, and standards.
Solve highly technical complex integration problems and consult on projects.
Drive the direction in the use of Integration technologies and adoption of the Enterprise Integration strategy. Review integration related code and designs to ensure adherence to best practices, and guide integration architects and software engineers in the use of secure code guidelines.
Create and maintain integration architecture patterns, standards and guidance that align with the enterprise architecture strategy and governance practices.
Maintain advanced knowledge of enterprise integration technologies and best practices. Develop integration roadmaps and gain support/approval from stakeholders and senior leadership.
Lead the architectural efforts of large and complex projects or complex technologies for integrations involving multiple vendors, multiple technologies, leading-edge technologies, and broad implications for architecture.
Coach co-workers and provide feedback to enhance skills and knowledge in the Integration domain.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or equivalent computer related degree from an accredited college or university required.
Ten or more years of related, relevant experience required in at least two enterprise architecture domains (business architecture, information architecture, application architecture, or infrastructure architecture
Advanced foundational capability in domain specific skills related to integrations: API design, messaging, and enterprise application inoperability.
Expertise with translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences, integration systems, data transfer approaches, Scrum/Agile development methodologies, project management and technical implementation and TOGAF methodology.
Key Technical Skills
DevSecOps automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery
Web development experience with Java, Linux servers, web services using SOAP and REST, API management, enterprise messaging using JMS.
Containerization technologies such as Docker
Cloud: cloud and infrastructure technology, cloud computing, and programming languages
Identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc.
Relational database experience with Amazon RDS, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Architecture modeling and diagramming tools
Experience with Mule integration platform
Experience with using a wide variety of Open Source technologies.
