Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Claude, .NET & Web API
Location: Lewisville, TX (On site)


Position overview
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, coding, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support Caliber s business objectives and Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life purpose.
This role will lead development of enterprise-grade services and APIs using .NET and C#, and integrate Claude and other LLM capabilities into applications that keep Caliber s centers running at peak capacity.

Essential job duties
Design, develop, test, implement, and support .NET and C# applications and RESTful Web APIs hosted in Azure to meet business requirements.
Integrate Claude and other AI/LLM services into new and existing applications to enable intelligent automation, insights, and teammate-facing tools.
Produce documented architectures, workflows, sequence diagrams, and logical processes for solutions and integrations.
Support and maintain existing corporate software applications, including tier III production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Ensure adherence to established system architectures, coding standards, and Caliber s SDLC and change management processes.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA, and system owners to refine requirements and deliver on-time, high-quality releases.
Plan and execute project and support tasks based on established timelines, proactively communicating status, risks, and mitigation plans.
Lead and participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and security reviews for APIs and backend services.
Mentor other developers, share best practices around .NET, Web API, Azure, and AI integration, and help elevate overall engineering maturity.

Required skills and experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
6+ years of experience with Microsoft web technologies in the Visual Studio .NET environment (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful Web APIs and service-oriented or microservice architectures.
Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM platforms (preferably Claude) into production workloads, including prompt design, orchestration, and safety/guardrail patterns.
Strong experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL/SQL Server, storage, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Solid understanding of API and web security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, secrets management, and data protection.
Proficiency in SQL Server, including coding and debugging stored procedures and optimizing queries.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, research and identify needed information, and implement effective technical solutions.
Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to lead whiteboard/architecture discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications
Experience with front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to collaborate effectively across the stack.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or integrating with enterprise SaaS applications.
Background in event-driven architectures, message-based integrations, and designing resilient distributed systems.
Familiarity with AI orchestration tools, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns.
