Apex Systems, LLC is immediately seeking a Senior Software Engineer in support of a growing Government Integrator in Columbia, MD. The qualified individual will be part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, cutting edge technologies/applications in an innovation driven environment, developing next generation Healthcare platforms. Location: Columbia, MD (Fully Remote during COVID) Duration: Temp to Perm Compensation: Competitive based on years of relevant experience & education Clearance: Able to obtain & maintain a positions of Public Trust Responsibilities: Full Agile development of web-based enterprise solutions utilizing Java EE. Develop and integrate solutions using various open source architectures Support technical discussions to provide guidelines and approach to team Collaborate with team to design new features and functionality Present solution to stakeholders for various reviews Support security assessments as required Serve as a mentor to technical team members Monitor progress against deliverables, employing effective risk and issue management strategies Required Qualifications: Bachelors' Degree and 5-9+ years of related development experience w/ enterprise level web applications 7+ years as a senior developer building multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions using technologies/frameworks such as Java EE, Spring, JBoss, Fuse, MQ, RDBMS, ORM, AWS, REST. 7+ years in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. architecture, process re-engineering, development, verification) 2+ years' experience working on Microservices architecture. 3+ years estimating, planning, and executing complex projects using Agile methodologies Developing systems with Section 508 compliance Collaborating in a multiple team environment Experience supporting Medicare or Medicaid programs Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting projects / programs in the Federal Health, HHS, or Enterprise Healthcare industries Supporting client stakeholders with varying levels of Agile experience Experience with rules/process engines such as JBoss BPM and JBoss BRMS Master's Degree in related skill / CompSci Expertise in Secure Coding & Secure Development Life Cycle w/ CI/CD concepts Ability / proven experience mentoring junior team members Required Skills : Microservices,Amazon Web Services (AWS),Web API,Agile Testing,Rest,Spring,JBOSS,Relational Database,J2EE,Java
