Job Role:Senior Software Automation QA Analyst

Job Description:
  • Build new automated test strategies with Selenium Cucumber frameworks and maintain the existing frameworks. Create, execute, improve, and maintain functional, system,
    integration and regression test suites using automated methods.
  • Analyze and understand project requirements, devise test strategies, develop testscenarios, elaborate scenarios into detailed manual test cases. Use automated tool Selenium using Java/Python language to perform software system validation to ensurespecifications are met and assist in the evaluation of the tools and provide proof of concepts.
  • Work with remote teams with a BDD approach and Coordinate with SoftwarDevelopment team and Product Management team (Product owners, Business Analyst) to establish test criteria for new features and assist in the enhancement and maintenance of a structured automation testing framework.
  • Collaboratively troubleshoot, understand, and document issues, and be responsive to tool Jira ticketing systems. Solve problems quickly and communicate with related teams.
  • Effectively maintain the test data for automation deliverables. Constantly perform the gap analysis to ensure good automation test coverage, assess and provide proactive solutions.Investigate customer reported problems and identify root causes.
  • Test under various application environments including web-based and mobile.
  • Coordinate internal and external releases, understand dependencies between the different projects to ensure proper release management.
  • Assist to team meetings to sync about project updates and testing progress
  • Verification and validation of the applications/systems to ensure they meet the expected behavior.
  • Provide support in each QA release, provide release reports to the manager.
  • Build CI/CD pipeline for the automated testing using Jenkins/Azure DevOps tools.
  • Performance testing of the system using Jmeter/Load Ninja tool and provide testing reports to the team or log issues.
The skills required for this position are highly specialized because the position requires the individual to possess advanced knowledge of technical engineering, analysis, design and standards for the software technology industry, including technical knowledge of engineering and computer science technology and expertise in industry in order to provide oversight and direction to the engineering and software activities.
  • Accordingly, the minimum requirements for the position of Senior Automation QA Analyst are bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field, plus at least five years of relevant experience in computer science technology
