Overview
This role focuses on designing and supporting complex business operations for a large academic or public-sector organization using a secure Salesforce environment. The developer will build custom solutions, enable integrations with external platforms, and ensure all deliverables comply with stringent government security standards.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, a deep understanding of regulated cloud environments, and familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST. The position also requires effective collaboration with administrators, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Build scalable and secure Salesforce solutions, including advanced automation, Lightning components, Apex-based logic, and scheduled processing.
Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using APIs and web services, ensuring compliance with government security guidelines.
Configure and support Salesforce implementations in authorized environments, ensuring all customizations meet data protection and residency requirements.
Lead end-to-end technical delivery from requirements gathering through deployment using CI/CD practices while adhering to governance, auditing, and change management standards.
