Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Houston, TX- Onsite
Engagement Type: Contract to hire
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory along with little knowledge on Azure.
- Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security (least basic understanding of networking)
- Virtualization technologies: Clustered Microsoft Hyper-V (strong in Hyber V)
- Work escalated support issues related to Microsoft's core business solutions and remote access.
- Keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Be available for other sys admins, engineers, and coach them to resolution
