Senior Java Developer
Location : Austin Texas
Direct Client : Texas Health and Human Services Commission
Candidates must be local to the State of Texas, preferably the Austin metro area. Out of State candidates will not be considered due to the requirement for availability to come in the office is needed.

Rate : 65$ C2C
This may involve RESTful service oriented solutioning using the latest Java/J2EE technology stack along with UI frameworks such as Angular and relational databases such as Oracle. Knowledge and experience working on Single Page Applications development, RESTful services, Oracle or MS SQL or another RDBMS database in Agile environment is required. This role will also support the applications enhancements and defect corrections and fixes.
In addition, support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Maintains all required documentation. Experience within Agile software development methodologies. Helps troubleshoot problems and tracks defects. Works with
minimal supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgement. Work on other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java/J2EE technology stack using MVC, Spring/Struts/Hibernate frameworks
Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
Experience with UI Frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery, Ajax, etc.
Experience within software development using Agile methodology
Experience in writing PL SQL programs
Experience in development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using frameworks and libraries like Angular
Experience in developing web applications using web server such as WebSphere Application Server
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc
