We are hiring a Senior Developer A e Experience Platform (AEP) for one of our clients in Cleveland, OH.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer A e Experience Platform (AEP) with strong hands-on expertise in A e Journey Optimizer (AJO) to design, develop, and optimize personalized customer experiences across digital channels. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, data, and product teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions using A e s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using A e Experience Platform (AEP) and A e Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Build and manage customer journeys, real-time personalization, and decisioning logic
- Configure and integrate AEP components including schemas, datasets, identities, segments, and profiles
- Develop and maintain integrations between AEP/AJO and external systems using REST APIs and event-driven architectures
- Ensure data quality, governance, performance, and compliance within A e platforms
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
- Lead best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to A e platforms
- Contribute to architecture decisions and A e Experience solution roadmaps
- Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Primary Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience with A e Experience Platform (AEP)
- Expertise in A e Journey Optimizer (AJO) (journey orchestration & personalization)
- In-depth understanding of A e Experience Cloud architecture and data models
Secondary Skills (At least one required)
- Python data processing, automation, or backend integrations
- React front-end experience integration
- Java enterprise backend services and integrations
Additional Technical Skills
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of real-time, streaming, and batch data ingestion
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Understanding of data privacy, consent management, and governance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
Nice to Have
- A e Certifications (AEP, AJO, A e Experience Cloud)
- Experience with A e Analytics, A e Target, A e Launch
- Exposure to Marketing Automation and Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
