Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location:- Onsite Day one, San Bruno, CA

Duration:- Long Term contract (W2 only)

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities:-

  • Working with leadership/business partners to discuss and understand goals/functional objectives and key business challenges to develop hypotheses around current and future business issues, identifying functional analytics and research objectives and developing tactical research plans.
  • Managing the creation of and presenting actionable recommendations to Senior leadership to contribute to business results.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert to business insights; Ensuring business needs are being met.
  • Understanding Data warehousing and BI Architecture for dynamic and real-time updates of dashboards
  • Managing the development and application of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and supporting data-driven decision making.
  • Delivering ongoing and accurate reporting of KPIs for Daily / Weekly Business Review reporting
  • Collaborating with Advanced Analytics Experts to develop new data analysis techniques.
  • Working with BI and Site Analytics team members to assist them in accessing and leveraging key data sets.
  • Defining SLA and acceptable time lags by data source, defining QA process, and socializing resolution process to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects
  • Leading and participating in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, any Engineering discipline, and 10+ years of experience in relevant Data engineering and Business Intelligence platforms or master’s degree in computer science, Business Analytics, any Engineering discipline, Business Administration, and 8+ years in relevant Data engineering and Business Intelligence platforms experience.
  • Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, GBQ and Spark SQL
  • Advanced SQL & experience with working on large multidimensional data sets, unstructured data.
  • Experience in Tableau, Power BI and Looker are required.
