Job Title: Senior Control system Engineer

Utilize strong design and troubleshooting knowledge of heavy-duty off-highway vehicle type control and electrical systems utilizing multiple controllers and CAN bus communication networks
Working knowledge of CANbus and related standards for vehicle communications, such as SAE J1939.
Act as the interface between all disciplines of design / support engineering and software engineers to define required functionality of vehicle systems using Systems Engineering principles and approaches.
I. Work directly with all disciplines of design engineering to understand desired vehicle functionality and subsequently transform the requests into functional software specifications.
II. Work directly with software suppliers / engineers, communicating functional system requests via detailed documentation that follows functional operational guidelines across all products.
Ensure design compliance to various regulations and standards across multiple regions and markets.
Design control systems for function, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
Plan and direct relevant activities through all phases of innovation and development.
Assist in feasibility studies and project estimates on proposed projects.
Establish tasks and priorities for work delegated to others, including offshore resources.
Exposure to powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with selecting, testing, and integrating sensors as a part of the larger control
Participate in validation / regression test of software developed using bench test fixtures, automated test equipment such as Hardware in Loop, and vehicles to assure design intent.
Exposure to Human-Machine Interfaces.
Working knowledge of model-based engineering tools such as Matlab / Simulink.
Direct preparation of Layouts, Drawings, Specifications & Bill of Materials
