Senior Business Analyst _ Hybrid Pleasant Prairie, WI

About the Role

Required Skills & Experience:

• Requires BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Analytics related field and 10+ years’ related experience in analytics development
• 2+ years of agile development in gathering business requirement, product design and writing user stories
• 5+ years of strong demonstratable SQL experience in writing queries to analyze data to meet business requirements
• Experience as a part time or full time product owner, translating requirements from the business into meaning full groupings that are packaged into user stories to be executed in a sprint. 
• Experience performing data source analysis as input into forming ETL requirements and design.
• Experience with developing requirements for ETL transformations
• Experience with reading and understanding data models in how they relate to achieving business requirements
• Experience with financial and ERP implementations a plus
• Patience to hunt for data, willingness to learn and effectively communicating with business for questions
• Self-motivated, capable to resolve problems/blockers and able to prioritize tasks reasonably and effectively
• Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity
• Excellent presenter, influencer

Responsibilities

• Meet with the business and understand the business needs and translate them into business requirements
• Analyze the data sources using strong SQL skills to understand the data sources, cardinality, quality issues that are required inputs into data required to meet business needs
• Translate business requirements into user stories that can be execute within an Agile sprint.
• Provide guidance and leadership on driving product ownership of business demand and effectively prioritizing them to be executed or backlogged as needed.
• Managed an onshore or offshore team to effectively execute the user story within the timeframe required and provide daily updates on the daily standup.
• Answer questions as needed with development and architectural needs while implementing such business needs
• Perform data and functional testing as needed to ensure development is meeting the requirements
• Meet with the business to perform user requirement testing to understand test cases and ensure development is meeting the needs
• Meet with client as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results.
• Take accountability to complete work on time and raise blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence.
• Lead small team of consultants or client individuals to drive project work as required
• Based on past and current client execution, work with peers to lead in the development of point of views, new solutions, accelerators that will assist in driving results.
• Using your experience, provide leadership and guidance as needed with building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients.
