Job Description :
We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Business Analyst role.
Provide technical assistance to Data Governance projects by documenting and mapping current and future business processes due to the changes needed for large-scale system replacement efforts. Identify changes needed to business processes and work with business users to prepare solution options, identify risks, and conduct other analyses as required. Write detailed description of business processes to include steps required to develop or modify processes for daily business activities. Plan and facilitate meetings and follow up on action items. Organize business process mapping documentation. Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders. Perform related work as assigned. Develop test plans, execute tests, and coordinate communication of test results.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in planning, leading, gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements in cooperation with business and technical groups
  • Experience developing business process maps and performing fit-gap analyses
  • Experience solving complex problems and troubleshooting software systems
  • Experience simultaneously collecting requirements across multiple program areas that have varying business needs
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
  • Experience preparing and executing test plans, leading and assisting team members in performing and completing test activities, and documenting/communicating testing results
  • Experience implementing and testing interfaces that exchange data with large, complex legacy systems
  • Experience in assisting with development of plans and work artifacts in support of the project management life cycle
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management software such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Atlassian
Preferred Skills:
  • Texas Workforce Commission experience
