Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, application modernization, and migration strategies. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Azure services, strong leadership in solution delivery, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud solutions leveraging Azure services.Develop end-to-end cloud strategies, including infrastructure, networking, security, data, and application components.Design and oversee cloud migration plans from on-premises or other platforms to Azure.Provide technical leadership across cloud engineering, DevOps, and development teams.Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for scalability, resilience, security, and cost optimization.Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and solution architectures.Establish governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance controls for Azure environments.Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and monitoring solutions.Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend enhancements to existing architectures.Mentor and guide junior engineers and architects on cloud technologies and design principles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.10–15 years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Azure architecture and cloud design.Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using core Azure services such as:Azure Virtual Machines, VNet, Storage, App Services, Azure FunctionsAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, Event Hub, Service BusAzure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse Analytics, Data LakeAzure Active Directory, Key Vault, Monitor, and Security CenterStrong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models and cloud-native application design.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.Proficiency with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.Solid grasp of cloud networking, identity management, and security frameworks.Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to interface with business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (highly preferred).Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.Exposure to data modernization, AI/ML services, or analytics platforms on Azure.prior experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government is a plus
