Looking for a Sr. Automation Test Engineer who can step in as a lead to help provide guidance and mentor junior staff members. Candidates who apply should have at least five years of heavy Automation Testing experience and the ability to lead and mentor others. Other skills needed are: Cucumber, Gherkin, Visual Studio, C# and Selenium. Candidates who apply need to have a positive attitude, the ability to be a contributor while helping others, and have great initiative. This is a long term contract assignment but candidates need to be able work with no current or future sponsorship. Job Responsibilities include: Create quality plan strategies Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks Develop Automation scripts as feasible leveraging existing tools in the project Support defect / issue resolution and retesting based on the change control Provide support in getting users acceptance / approval working with the business users and other partner teams as needed Maintain a log of all open items or issues and proactively problem solve to meet the project schedule on deliverables Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments Expertise developing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Cucumber, with integration to Jenkins and Sauce labs Able to understand CI/CD processes and in-sprint automation Proven experience writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using standard & custom tools Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (backend and frontend) Experience testing REST services Experience in Automation ATDD framework implementation Good understanding of multiple test automation frameworks and Dev Ops Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly and solve problems Technical Skills required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience Detail oriented with the ability to work with others during time constraints to meet deadlines 5+ years of automated testing experience 3+ years testing in C#/Visual Studio environments 3+ years of experience working with RESTful services years of experience 3+ working with cross-browser UI testing 3+ working with Cucumber and Gherkin 3+ working with Selenium 2+ years of experience working with relational databases 2+ experience working in an Agile environment Azure experience would be a plus Required Skills : Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Visual Studio, C# Great communication skills Please share resume to or can can reach me at
