Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computers Science or Information Security or related field, and 4+ years relevant Security Systems administration experience. CISSP or similar certification will be a plus. Knowledgeable with Network technologies, protocols (IP, TPC, UDP), Network addressing, NAT, DNS. Network troubleshooting, packet capture and analysis.
Performs the administration of systems and network security using Checkpoint Firewall and IPS, Cisco ASA VPN and Network Access Control (ISE), Citrix Netscaler load balancing, Nessus vulnerability scanner and other Internet security systems. Monitors firewall and intrusion detection logs and scrutinizes network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity. Interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution.
Performs the administration of anti-virus and malware prevention systems using Cylance EPR. Manages these systems to keep data, servers, networks, and end-user PCs clean of virus and malware penetration. Administers Cisco Umbrella web filtering systems to manage and track user Internet activity with the ability to report on the individual user level when requested by management. Installs, configures and maintains all existing and new security software to ensure the performance of these systems.
