SCRUM MASTER

LOCATION: AUSTIN,TX

The Worker will perform these tasks:

Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
Recognizes and removes the impediments for the scrum (development) team.
Assesses performance of teams and programs, finds opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations and implements changes and steps to increase the team’s productivity.
Works with product owners, and internal customers, to maintain requirements backlog and conduct requirements elaborations
Mentors product owners, internal customers, project managers, developers and others in agile principles and leading industry practices.
Contributes to development and sharing of agile standard methodologies
Ensures the correct use of scrum process working as an agile team member of the Applications Services area.
Collaborates with other scrum masters to improve the methodologies’ efficiency.
Provides detailed metrics and dashboard covering tasks, assigned resources, and story points including burn down charts
Onsite Requirements: Worker will be required to work on site with the team during business hours. Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the IT Applications Services Manager.

Manage multiple projects of medium to large scale through all sprints/iterations and phases of the project

Lead technical teams, such as development, architecture, test automation, and/or dev ops
Problem-solving and multi-task skills with a readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.
Knowledge of project management methodologies that includes Agile development and other SDLC methodologies.
Software development industry knowledge
Onsite Requirements: Worker will be required to work on site with the team. Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the Direct Supervisor.
