SAP Workflow Developer III
Location: One Houston Center, 1221 McKinney St. Ste 300, Houston TX 77010

Description:
ATTN: While this description does describe a Functional resource, the
requirement is in fact for a TECHNICAL resource.
This is a highly technical hands-on SAP role which requires deep SAP
experience, much more technical than a business partner.
Competitive bill rates are expected and will be carefully compared against
qualifications and experience.
*Key requirements:*
- solid knowledge of Treasury and Accounts Payables outbound payments
(F110, F111) with hands on experience of setting them up
- knowledge of in-house cash
- expert level of knowledge in setting up XML DMEE trees for payments
The Analyst is a key position in the discovery and delivery of technology
solutions for business. The Analyst is an individual contributor who is
responsible for helping with gathering of business requirements to ensure
business objectives are met by the new IT solutions as well as the design,
development and execution of projects. The Analyst must ensure the full
systems lifecycle process is adhered to, overseeing solutions through the
entire implementation process. They must be proficient in Project
Management disciplines from requirements gathering through implementation
of the functional solution. The Analyst advocates for their clients and
acts as the single point of contact for incident management, new services
and resource allocation.
This position is responsible for the requirements gathering and analysis ,
design and configuration in SAP Treasury area with focus on SAP Treasury
Risk Management, SAP In House Cash , SAP Inbound and Outbound Payments and
Banking , as well as integration touch points to other processes and
systems. Responsible for estimating, configuring and leveraging SAP
functionality to meet core business process needs. This position would
interface regularly with business stakeholders, development teams, and
third parties to ensure that business requirements are met through proper
system design and configuration.
This position reports to the IT Product Team Manager and supports other
Product Team Analysts.
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
Gathers business requirements and identifies gaps through analysis of all
the information available
Helps develop business cases, considering financial, resource, and
technological constraints; develops cost estimates with consideration for
business impacts and risks.
Maintains relationship with business colleagues with excellent
communication
Leads solution design activities with client groups in a specific
business area to document and finalize business requirements
Works closely with business colleagues, to quickly understand new
requirements or problems, then suggest a possible solution
Design solutions that address business requirements and functionality gaps
Documents solution design, conducts design reviews and obtains design
sign-offs from the stakeholders
Performs development and configuration activities as needed along with
developing functional specifications for the technical teams
Oversees and follows up on enhancements and small project implementation
activities including development solution documents, functional designs.
Works with technical developers to ensure business requirements are clear
and development activities are on schedule
Develops unit test cases and performs testing to ensure requirements are
met for system modifications or data extracts.
Consults with business colleagues on appropriate change management
activities to achieve organizational readiness for the implementation of
changes.
Demonstrates leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications,
and user acceptance testing efforts.
Participates in development of short and long term plans.
Manages incident and problem management for assigned functional areas and
client groups in support of on-going operations ensuring compliance with
stage gate and internal controls.
Manages monthly enhancement cycle process for development steps
*Min. Qualifications:*
Bachelor s degree in Engineering / IT / Finance or related disciple with
at least 6 years of experience implementing SAP solutions in a functional
role.
Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end business process in Treasury
operations either front-office; middle office and back office treasury.
Knowledge of Finance processes is an added advantage.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in core SAP FI/CO modules - General
Ledger, Accounts Payables, Account Receivables
Knowledge and hand-on experience in SAP Treasury core functionality - SAP
Treasury Risk Management, SAP In House Cash , SAP Payments and Banking,
Electronic Bank Statements
Configuration and functional development experience a must
Excellent understanding of integration points between SAP FI/CO, AR, AP
and Treasury
Good understanding of integration technologies such as IDOCs/ ALE/ EDI ,
XML, web services.
Understand available capabilities and services and work with supply to
ensure cost efficiently and business needs are met
7-10 years of work experience in roles with a high level of client or
end-user engagement with experience in both support and formal or informal
leadership
7-10 years of solutions and multiple domain experience with increasing
levels of responsibility in systems analysis, defining technical
requirements, and performing high level design for complex solutions
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Goal driven, action oriented
When needed, can say no by offering meaningful alternatives
Understand the drivers of organizational change and interdependencies
among all moving parts
Value oriented, understands technology is a tool with overriding goal of
business success
Well-grounded in Service Management represent IT to the business.
Communicate and defend IT policies and standards, and understand how IT
services benefit the business.
Coordinate/act as a broker of services and suppliers, including
Enterprise Architecture, Solution Delivery, Service Management, etc.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
Autobank configuration experience
Prior experience working with other treasury integration systems e.g.
Mysis, Bloomberg, Refinitiv Data Services will be a strong added advantage.
SAP Treasury Risk Management certification
Finance or Accounting business experience or certifications
Exposure to several of the following Treasury operations along with a
firm understanding of General Accounting:
o Cash management, Electronic Bank statements, In-House cash
o Payment processing, Liquidity management
o Fixed income trading
o Debt and investments
o Intercompany netting
o Derivatives and hedging
Experience in the Petrochemical Industry with strong business acumen
