Success Factors Project Manager (Consultant Role)

Job Description:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects. Ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, goals and adherence to quality standards and project management best practices.

 

Summary Of Duties

Leads larger scale or small scale, complex SuccessFactors software implementation.

§  Serves as the single point of contact for project assigned.

§  Creates and manages the project plan. Create project plans and related resource plans and present to leadership.

§  Manages teams to execute projects leading to timely delivery, quality, and compliance with the projects scope

§  Develop key messages and communicate around project updates to leaders.

§  Leads Training, Communication & Change Management plans related to projects.

§  Manages all aspects of the project by monitoring and identifying any project issues early-on to be able to mitigate any risk for the client, including budget monitoring.

§  Aligns schedules between various cross teams, take leadership in scheduling of meetings, organizing team calendars.

§  Coordinates with Crocs PMO team to set up project tools to support projects, resources the project team, partnering with various leaders, and prepares project teams for project kickoff.

§  Tracks and manages project progress in terms of scope, budget, and timelines.

§  Identifies and documents scope changes for Change Request/Change Order documentation and approval management.

§  Notifies proactively PMO and/or Executive Management of risks/issues when concerns arise.

§  Will need to demonstrate strong project management skills and be very collaborative and detail oriented to coordinate deployment related workstream meetings, project plans, risks and decision logs.

§  Tracks and monitors budget and forecast of hours for duration to project completion.

§  Escalations management, identifying the root cause, creating action plans and responsible for containment / monitoring of escalations.

§  Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects that vary in scope, and size

§  This individual would collaborate with IT Leadership, PMO, Functional SME’s  and Training & Change Management teams as needed to successfully manage the data cutover for a successful deployment

§  Manage pre-cutover, cutover, and post cutover activities as part of Project including scheduling and facilitating meetings, taking notes, distributing action items, and updating/monitoring the risks, actions, and decisions log

§  Partner with IT cutover leads on the build, review and finalization of the cutover plan aligning tasks and dependencies.

§  Facilitate/attend defect/issue triage meetings to review critical defects and work through any roadblocks.

§  Considers long-term consequences and implications associated with actions/events; sees relationships between diverse systems, organizations, or environments; considers problems from a range of viewpoints.

§  Strong ability in setting strategic vision by driving continuous improvement, evaluating/implementing ideas and resolving conflict.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

o   Skilled in technology coupled with business acumen to compliment system consulting.

o   Expertise in various SuccessFactors modules and SAP software. Suitable candidate years’ experience on SAP SuccessFactors Implementation + roll out projects. Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager, with a strong background on SAP SuccessFactors

o   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Product Suite, especially MS Project and Visio.

o   Completion of multiple SuccessFactors, SAP HCM or related projects with depth of knowledge. Prior HRIS / HR Technology Experience with SAP SuccessFactors a must (ideal modules Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, Reporting, Compensation and Goals / Performance)

o   Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources industry best practices and Project Management domain discipline.

o   Analytical and solutions oriented; ability to solve complex problems, provides detailed insight and constructive criticism into problems and complex situations.

o   Identifies key factors that influence the viability of different solutions & clarifies information to solve problems.

o   Ability to build personal relationships with clients and peers, while inspiring and motivating others.

o   Ability to work in teams and independently.

o   Strong organizational, planning and management skills.

o   Strong presentation skills and meeting facilitation; displays confidence and poise in formal speaking situations; creates effective and compelling presentations; keeps meetings clearly focused on the agenda.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Project Management Experience:

·       7 - 10 years project management experience

·       HR/IT project experience preferred.

·       SuccessFactors implementation experience strongly preferred.

·       PMP desired
