Job Description :

SD Functional Consultant

Location : PA (They can be located remotely as long as they can work EST)

Duration : 9+ months

Duties and Responsibilities:
Works as part of project team to deliver new SAP Order-to-Cash system to all AmeriGas locations through multiple rollouts during project lifecycle.
Provides support for SAP production environment troubleshooting issues and implementing resolutions.
Develops recommendations for how to configure SAP and other relevant software tools to meet the needs of the company's process design.
Assist other project team members in SAP SD and MM processes and configuration.
Responsible for the functional support and configuration for the Billing, EDI, IDOC, Inventory, Data Governance and all End of Month processes.
Analyze business requirements and develop system proposals, functional specifications and designs.
Manages or participates as a team member on projects involving Sales & Distribution functionality and works directly with business to gather requirements.
Ensures quality systems integration, follows testing and change control procedures.
Manages upgrades and application of support packages with the SD and OGSD modules.
Develops and manages project plans and schedules.
Performs root cause analysis on variances and implement corrective action plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Extensive background in SAP Order to Cash Implementations.
Strong business knowledge of the critical processes in the Order to Cash stream.
Solid project management skills and team oriented interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills and strong experience interacting with Operations and Sales end users.
Ability to troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and external applications.
Familiarity with SAP hierarchy design and SAP best practices.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of SD/MM configuration experience
At least one full life cycle implementation of SAP
Experience in implementing and supporting Order to Cash processes in SAP
Experience with project lifecycle methodologies
Experience working with 3rd party system integrators
Experience with SAP BI with respect to sales and customer reporting
Experience interfacing with customers via EDI
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Oil and Gas or Utility industry
Experience with Oil & Gas Downstream Marketing & Logistics, and Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution (OGSD - TeleSales, Data Collation and Forecasting)
Experience with IDOC management and processing
Experience interfacing with customers via EDI
