Role: SAP S4 HANA Architect

Location: Washington, DC

Full-Time Role

 

The role will take Techno-Functional responsibility for S4HANA, SAP ABAP and its associated SAP modules with a special focus on guiding the client through their transformation journey in ERP.

Required Qualifications for Senior SAP S4 HANA Architect

•  Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

•  At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology

 

Preferred Qualifications for Senior SAP S4 HANA Architect

•         Very strong Communication skills

•         Someone who can bring in a strategic perspective, should be able to communicate and put view forward with the program executives

•         Bring in the best practices, do and don’ts and influence the client towards decisions

•         Should be able to question the client perspectives, enter a discussion and challenge them wherever required

•         Solution architect, aware of the various SAP technologies – SAP implementation, Upgrades & SAP S4HANA Implementation (good to have)

•         Aware of the latest trends – coding paradigms, Cloud Adoption techniques and SAP Product roadmap

•         Advanced ABAP coding knowledge

•         Should display traits of a Solution architect and able to guide/mentor the juniors in the team

 

Good to have

•  SAP S/4HANA Readiness, conversion techniques and experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations

•  High level view on the cloud adoption techniques and ability to steer the client towards a digital adoption

•  Able to work closely with the team to understand the functional/business requirements and convert them to solution designs

•  Review the team deliverables, provide them guidance and mentoring them to get to a quality deliverable

•  Push the team to deliver under odds and be hands on to help the team in difficult situations

•  Develop plans, schedules, estimates and dependencies considering the risks associated

•  Ability to provide solution leadership in pursuits, anchor solution architecture and estimates for program delivery
