Role Summary

  • An SAP P2P (Procure-to-Pay) Functional Consultant designs, configures, and supports SAP systems for procurement and payment processes. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, creating functional designs, configuring SAP modules such as MM, troubleshooting issues, and training users. The role requires strong SAP expertise, business analysis skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication to ensure smooth integration of P2P processes across business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements to design SAP solutions for the procure-to-pay process.
  • System Configuration: Configure SAP modules (e.g., MM, S/4HANA) and Fiori apps to meet business needs.
  • Solution Design: Create functional specifications, design test models and scripts, and document solutions.
  • Testing & Support: Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT); provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
  • Project Management: Lead or support project phases including requirements gathering, design, build, and testing.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver user training; create and maintain functional documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to existing business processes and systems.


Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP P2P processes and SAP MM module.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori (required).
  • Understanding of cross-module integrations (FI, SD, CO).
  • Experience with SAP Ariba (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP integration and middleware tools.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Effective planning and project management skills.


Experience:

  • Multiple years of SAP P2P implementation or support experience.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience conducting training and managing organizational change.
